Green-Speak is a remote first, people-first company. Our mission, “To provide sustainability curriculum to every school in America using the USGBC LEED rating system” is ambitious and achievable. Our partners and the Green-Speak team work together to provide innovative and exemplary educational tools that engage students in hands on sustainability projects using the gold standard for green building rating systems, LEED.
Director, Heather McCombs has been teaching sustainability using the LEED rating system, for 15 years. Author of the best-selling LEED Green-Associate Exam Prep Guide, v.4, McCombs left the construction and design field to train teachers and professionals world-wide the core concepts of sustainability. Green-Speak is the scaling-up of that effort, with the goal to provide everyone who lives in buildings the tools to improve their impact on the triple bottom line – people, planet, and profit.
