About

This program is for teachers, professors and school staff who want to improve their own understanding of green building principles and strategies in order to better prepare students for green jobs. Teachers will be prepared to pass the LEED Green Associate exam using a curriculum they can deliver in their classrooms. This program is only available for those employed as K12, CTE and higher education teachers and instructors, school facility & sustainability staff, and district support staff. This course is not intended for those who provide corporate, business, government or professional trainings.

The cost of the course includes six live weekly sessions, online textbook, curricular materials, and registration for the LEED Green Associate exam. Participants will attend the course in April through June of this year. Following registration for the course, participants will be provided with a promo code to use for exam registration, which will be valid for 4 months following the completion of the course.

Watch a quick overview video of the course from the instructor.

Each participant will receive the “LEED Green Associate Exam Preparation Guide, LEED v4 Edition”, which will be used to prepare for the exam and plan strategies to engage students with green building concepts and career paths. The course slides will then be provided to participants to use in their classrooms.
